White Pearl Tom-Tom - Skin deep beauty

Designed for the fashion and style conscious: The new "White Pearl" edition sat nav unit is really just a re-styled exterior of an existing Tom-Tom model. Looks fabulous but aside from a new start up screen tere are no new or features or capabilities to the software that runs in this device either.

A perfect set of balls

Yes here are a perfect set of balls... well almost. They are smooth to the nearest 0.0000000003 meter (1.18110236 × 10-8 inches), and round to within 0.00000005 meters (1.96850394 × 10-6 inches).

The silicon sphere's are made by meteorologists from Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, I have no idea what they do. All I know is they're just a nice pair of balls...

London Calling Mobile Phone

The iconic K6 red phone boxes which used to be such a common site in England can now be yours in the form of this cool looking mobile handset.

The London Calling handset comes with colour LCD screen, SMS and MMS capability and travel charger and includes pre stored ringtones such as "Rule Brittania" "God Save the Queen" just to complete the British theme.

This handset is available unlocked for use with any network and will cost around £85 which is a bit pricey considering what other phones with the same features can do but then again it looks like a red phone box so prehaps its worht it?

Kindle Rip-Off

It maybe hard to believe, but the image below is not of an Amazon Kindle!

Spotted in Digital Publishing Fair 2009, in Japan this E-Book reader from Founder International bears a striking resemblance to the Amazon Kindle. It has E-Ink's Epaper screen, just like the Kindle.

Founder International claim that they haven't ripped off the Amazon Kindle but developed their product independantly. It will be interesting to hear what Amazon have to say about that.

The E-Book will retail at $209 in China but no reports on when or if it will retail out side of Asia
